The Oak Tree

Unlike the callous oak tree

Am more the palm that bends

And sways, adapting to the wind

Of change, able to withstand

The almighty wind with my understanding

Of pain, the oak stiffens

Happy in its strength yet the

Rain and powerful wind wins the

Contest, as the Oak breaks

And is swept to death
