I got these this bouquet for Valentine's Day and for some reason I wanted to capture them on paper before they completely died.  I have no idea how to paint white flowers so I tried to concentrate on the shadows and just let the paper show through for the rest but I obviously need more practise.  I enjoyed painting the leaves more than the flowes probably because I found these particular flowers too complicated and ended up doing them with outlines like I would when I was a little girl.
